Hi, my name is Jessica and my dad Cameron has MS. He is always in the hospital and I would really like him to get better. My dad even taught my sister Regina and I to make all different kinds of food!
Hi, I am Mia. I am 10 years old. I live in Kildare. My great uncle died following years of living with MS (multiple sclerosis). When I heard about the MS READaTHON, I said that I would definitely take part in it. I love reading and I really want to help people with MS. My favourite authors are Jacqueline Wilson, Roald Dahl and Jeff Kinney. I love the ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ series. They are really funny books. My favourite books by Jacqueline Wilson are ‘Best Friends’, ‘Double Act’ and ‘Sleepovers’. My favourite book by Roald Dahl is ‘Matilda’. I hope after reading this you decide to take part in the MS READaTHON, too. It is really great fun, I promise!
Hello, I received your letter today and when I read Abigail's letter I was touched. I'm also doing the READaTHON for the 3rd time. My mum also has MS and is just like Abigail's except my Mum maybe wouldn't be as bad as Abigail's. I am in 3rd year in Mulroy College as well. Last year I filled my sponsorship card and I knew then that I could raise more money but my sponsor card was full. So was wondering if I could try and fill more than one card? Please let me know when ever you have a chance :) Thanks
My name is Dylan. I am 10 years old and in 4th class. I live in Fermoy Co Cork. I live with my mother Áine and father Dan. My mother has MS and is very like Abigail's story. My mother has been in and out of a wheelchair and has gone blind a few times but it returned after a few weeks. She gets tired very easy and takes medication for pains in her arms and legs. She has not had a flare up in the last 6 months so we are very thankful for the hard work that Dr. Sweeney from Cork has done. This is my 3rd year doing the MS READaTHON and I'm hoping to do well this year. Dylan
Hi my name is Áine, I am Dylan’s mom. What Dylan forgot to tell you was that he is great help to his Dad and I with the work he does around the house! He is very understanding when I'm too tired to do things. He also has Dyslexia that makes it harder for him to read. He read over 20 books last year. I'm very proud of Dylan for all the effort he put in last year in the MS READaTHON for all the people with MS. Thanks Dylan.
