batman year one is a fantastic introduction to the world of batman and graphic novels. the graphic novel is brilliantly crafted with stunning illustrations and Wonderfull writing.
portraying batman's earliest year in his crusade against crime is no easy task but the comic manages to succeed creating a beautifully told epic masterpiece which will be renowned for many years to come. the book is suitable for 12 year olds and up due to the mature themes. but year one manages to create a remarkable story through well written characters, amazing art by David mazzuchelli, and fantastic writing.
