The Twins At St Clares

This is a realistic fiction about a boarding school. Twins Pat and Isabel are sent off to St Clares because their father thinks they are getting far too snobby at their old school. However, the girls think S t Clares is beneath and are determined to make the least of their time. But they are greeted by new friends, mysteries, and some friendly rivals!

One of my favourite parts is the part with the thief. The girls’ things have started going missing, and they suspect theft. Pat and Isabel then catch Kathleen in the middle of packing her things because she was caught stealing from an older girl and is sure she will be expelled. But Kathleen’s motives were very different from your usual thief. You see, the only person who sends Kathleen money is her mean old aunt who hardly gives her a penny. So when she can not buy nice things for people’s birthday, everyone thinks her mean, when she so wants to be generous.

This was a great book and I really enjoyed it.
