I think this book is amazing and highly recommend it for 7-9yr olds:)
This book tells a moral at the end and it has a spoiled child and very nice parents.Maurice Meek is a librarian and is meek by his nature, same goes to Meredith Meek . But one day they fell in love and....
They now have a daughter. BUT she is not as nice as you think. She is horrible and I will tell you now why the cover of this book is called 'FING'.

So one day Myrtle wanted a fing. Her parents [even herself ]
doesn't know what it is. It was not long before her parents discovered the Monsterpedia. Her father set out and found it. But it was a total disaster! Myrtle kicked the Fing and went rolling and was never seen again. There is more to this of course so I suggest you to read it.

MORAL: BEHAVE OR YOU MIGHT AS WELL END UP THERE

out of all the David Walliam's books I've read this has to be by far the worst. Very boring there was many times i just wanted the book to be over. it's not that bad but if you compare it to most David Walliam's books you'll find this worse Show more Show less

Very funny?and exciting!
This book is about the Meek family and their daughter Myrtle.Another main charter is the weird and wonderful Fing.A Fing is a big furry ball with one eye and two holes either side. One hole is it's mouth and the other is it's rear end.I love this book because it is really funny.I rate this five stars out of five.
