Backpack Terms & Conditions 

1. This promotion is open to participants who meet all the following criteria below:
• One of the first 500 participants to register before 11:59pm (GMT) 30^th Oct 2021
• Under 18 years old
• Irish resident with Irish mailing address provided during event registration
2. Back Pack is one size and one colour only. 
3. An email will be sent to all successful participants to confirm they will receive a free backpack
4. MS Readathon free slap bands will be dispatched from week beginning 1st November 2021 via An Post.
5. MS Readathon does not take any responsibility for lost or unclaimed mail.
6. MS Readathon does not take any responsibility for any technological issues that prevent a registration being processed in time or that cause a disparity between the time the registration is recorded on the MS Readathon system and the time shown on your registration confirmation.  In order to avoid any disappointment, please submit all online registration in good time to ensure that they are processed before the cut-off. 
7. MS Readathon reserves the right to verify the validity of registrations and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process.
8. The free backpack is not redeemable for cash or other products and is not transferable or available to exchange.
9. MS Readathon reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes if necessary due to unavailability of the notified prizes.
10. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, then subject to any compulsory law to the contrary, MS Readathon reserves the right to cancel the promotion.

Fundraising Prize Draw Terms & Conditions – Wireless Headphones

1. This promotion is open to all 2021 MS Readathon Child participants (under 18) who are a resident in Ireland and who raise €25 for the MS Readathon by 11:59 PM 10^th December 2021
2. For each €25 raised, the registered MS Readathon participant will receive one entry into the draw to win a set of wireless headphones
3. The winners will be determined by a random draw of valid competition entrants.
4. This prize draw will be publicised via email, phone and social media.
5. This competition period commences at 8am (GMT) 5th October and finishes on 10th December 2021.
6. This draw will take place the following week.
7. MS Readathon does not take any responsibility for any technological issues that prevent a registration being processed in time or that cause a disparity between the time the registration is recorded on the MS Readathon system and the time shown on your registration confirmation.  In order to avoid any disappointment, please submit all online registrations in good time to ensure that they are processed before the cut-off.

Languages Connect Prize Draw Terms & Conditions – iPads

1. This promotion is open to all 2021 MS Readathon Child participants (under 18) who are a resident in Ireland who read and log books in a foreign language other than English or Irish and who raise €50 for the MS Readathon by 11:59 PM 10^th December 2021. To be entered int the draw participants MUST let us know prior to the draw date by emailing read@msreadathon.ie 
2. For each €50 raised, the registered MS Readathon participant will receive one entry into the draw to win an iPad
3. The winners will be determined by a random draw of valid competition entrants.
4. This prize draw will be publicised via email, phone and social media.
5. This competition period commences at 8am (GMT) 5th October and finishes on 10th December 2021.
